Hi, welcome to the inaugural E-Newsletter from Ridge Avenue Design. We have not decided on a name for the newsletter as of yet but are throwing around a few ideas like the one you see above. Why a newsletter you might ask? To keep our friends, clients and prospective clients up to date on the happenings at Ridge Avenue Design.

We have been very busy this winter developing new websites as well as maintaining and adding value-added enhancements to existing client websites. We will touch on two of our newest websites below and delve into the mailbag or rather, in this case, the in-box.

Englewood Construction and Management

In May we unveiled our latest website for Englewood Construction. Englewood Construction is a full service general contractor located in Chicago and serving clients nationally. In addition to general contracting, Englewood also provides construction management services. Their website was designed to feature the four core development areas of Englewood Construction; restaurants, shopping centers, retail, and office, and industrial development. Navigation and graphic enhancements bring these core areas to the forefront of the website while allowing for easy navigation to other areas of interest.

We have a first here at Ridge Avenue Design. Our first client that is an Ant. We should probably clarify that by saying, our first clients who have written a book about an ant. We have developed a website for Children's Author Gregory Leifel and Illustrator Laura D'Argo. This website is much more than simply highlighting this fun new children's book. It chronicles the journey Laura and Greg are taking to have their book Ahhh Finally, How Ant Changed the World published. A highlight of the website is a tour of the traveling exhibit that lays out the process of creating a children's book. Be sure to check out this new website to see Greg and Laura's journey but, don't forget the Ant.

Ask Ridge Avenue Design

The photos you use on your website are excellent. Where do they come from?

The answer to that question is quite simple, all the pictures on www.RidgeAvenueDesign.com were taken by the team here at Ridge Avenue Design. The pictures range from shots taken in the Chicago area, where we are based, to photos of glaciers in Alaska and sunsets on the Caribbean. Thanks for asking Rich.
